Job summary

Endeavor Health's Center for Cardiac Health is seeking a per diem RN to provide expert nursing care at Edward Hospital with rotation to Elmhurst Specialty Care Clinic. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualized patient care in a fast-paced cardiac setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an Illinois RN license, a Bachelor's in Nursing, ACLS and BLS, with at least 2 years of cardiac nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• At least 2 years of cardiac nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualized patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate care and promote patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families, communicate changes in condition and maintain accurate documentation.
