Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Level II Competent Registered Nurse to provide total, continuous, patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients. You will use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Cardiac Critical Care experience preferred.
• Valid RN License from the relevant state or compact.
• BSN degree preferred.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• AHA ACLS Provider required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care with licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Coordinate patient/family teaching and discharge planning.
• Communicate the plan of care with the health care team.
• Assist leadership in defining standards of care and quality improvement.
