Job summary

The Cardiac Specialty Unit (CSU) at FirstHealth of the Carolinas provides specialized pre- and post-procedural cardiac care, including NSTEMI and chest pain management. Nurses administer and titrate cardiac drips and actively participate in bedside procedures.

ACLS certification is required, and RN license must be valid in NC or a compact state; BCLS is also required. Weekend incentive pay applies for eligible roles, with growth opportunities in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License.
• BCLS required.
• 2 Years of experience required for weekend incentive pay position.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Specialty Unit (CSU) provides pre- and post-procedural care for NSTEMI and active chest pain.
• Manages dysrhythmias with cardiac drips and participates in bedside procedures.
• Nurses are expected to obtain and maintain ACLS certification.
