Job summary

Research Medical Center in Kansas City seeks a Progressive Care RN with cardiac care expertise to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work with medical teams to provide pre- and post-operative nursing, advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Expect responsibilities including admission assessments, medication administration, documentation, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of cardiac care procedures and equipment.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
• (RN) Registered Nurse credential is required.
• Registered Nurse Diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, report changes.
• Perform procedures or functions ordered by the medical provider.
• Document care administration in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
