The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for designated patients, mentor peers, and participate in quality and safety initiatives to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care.
• Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty.
• Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
• RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care for designated patients.
• Recognizes the need for and initiates collaboration/communication with physicians and team members.
• Demonstrates commitment to quality and safety, following policies and evidence-based practice.
• Coordinates and provides patient and family education throughout treatment.
• Functions as a department team member to support unit and hospital goals.

Education

RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
