Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or GED.
• Experience: none.
• Licensure/certification: Critical Access Area - CNA required.
• Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required.
• Other qualifications: effective interpersonal, communication and team-working skills, organized and self-motivated, knowledge of office procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists patients and visitors with registration.
• Coordinates patient flow and schedules procedures.
• Routes calls and provides scheduling coverage for department staff.
• Assists with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Transports patients and equipment and maintains unit cleanliness.
