Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana is recruiting a BC/BE adult cardiac anesthesiologist for a 100% cardiothoracic practice in the MidWest. The team emphasizes service line expansion and new operating rooms.

We offer a 1:12 call schedule, a broad case mix including valve, aortic, structural heart, CABG, robotic thoracic, and EP services, with a growing transplant/LVAD program. Employed within a nonprofit health system in Indianapolis.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Anesthesia.
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board.
• Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia.

What You Will Do

A 100% cardiothoracic practice in the MidWest. Ascension St Vincent Heart Center of Indiana is actively recruiting a BC/BE adult cardiac anesthesiologist. Practice growth is due to service line expansion, and the opening of new OR's.

• Join an established team of 12 physicians
• Call structure: 1:12
• Practice setting: We provide a broad range of anesthetic care to the cardiac, thoracic and EP services at two suburban hospitals. Our clinical case variety is wide: a broad range of valve cases, major aortic cases (dissections, aneurysms/arch, TEVARs), structural heart (Watchman, TAVR, MitraClip, tricuspid clip/TTVR), CABG, robotic thoracic, and a busy EP service.
• In addition, there is a growing transplant / LVAD surgical heart failure program
• Total case volume is robust -exceeding 1300 open hearts / year
• Call is taken from home with post call off
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Anesthesia
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Deliver compassionate medical care and treatment to patients within the assigned clinical area.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients utilizing advanced clinical judgment and evidence-based practices.
• Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Anesthesiologist preferred.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
