The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Minnesota seeks a full-time ABA board-certified/eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join the University of Minnesota Medical Center team in Minneapolis. Academic rank, compensation, and appointment track will be based on qualifications and experience.

We care for patients undergoing extensive cardiac procedures, including CABG, valve surgeries (sternotomy, mini-thoracotomy, robotic), and complex aortic operations, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Anesthesiology residency and/or fellowship training program.
• Board eligible/certified in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology with the ABA.
• Pediatric cardiac anesthesiology training preferred.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota medical licensure.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
• Ability to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Provide cardiac anesthesiology care for adult and pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons and CRNAs on complex cardiac procedures.
• Contribute to teaching, research, and quality improvement within the division.
