Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Georgia is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our cardiovascular service line. You will provide anesthesia for a wide range of cardiac and thoracic procedures, perform TEE, and collaborate with surgeons, perfusionists, and support staff in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
• Fellowship training in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Georgia medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthetic care for adult cardiac surgical procedures.
• Perform and interpret perioperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
• Participate in multidisciplinary cardiovascular care teams.
• Support quality, patient safety, and clinical excellence initiatives.
• Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs and Anesthesiologist Assistants, as applicable.
• Participate in call coverage as determined by departmental scheduling.
