Qualifications
MD or DO degree required for the position.
Candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
Active Georgia medical license needed (willing to obtain if not yet licensed).
Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia is essential.
Minimum of 12 years experience in general anesthesia; new graduations with relevant training are welcome.
Responsibilities
Provide cardiac anesthesia services for various procedures, including CABG and valve repair.
Perform and interpret TEE as part of intraoperative management.
Supervise CRNAs and AAs for quality care.
Participate in 24/7 cardiac anesthesia coverage with the team.
Contribute to departmental initiatives on quality improvement and patient safety.
