Job summary

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a TEE-certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our expanding team at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis. The role combines cardiac and general surgical cases in a busy, physician-led ACT practice.

Ideal candidates have open-heart and structural heart experience and are eligible for Tennessee licensure. This full-time hybrid position features competitive compensation, potential academic appointments, relocation assistance, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certification/eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency completed.
• TEE certification required and experience with open-heart cases.
• Tennessee licensure eligible and DEA registration.
• BLS and ACLS certified, willingness to work in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for cardiac and general surgical procedures.
• Utilize perioperative TEE during cardiac cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, cardiologists, CRNAs and care teams.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy tertiary environment.
• Document anesthesia care per standards of Methodist Le Bonheur and Somnia.
