Job summary

Delta Locum Tenens is seeking a board-certified anesthesiologist for cardiac cases across the Memphis area and surrounding Tennessee locations. The role involves mainly weekday shifts with some weekends and on-call duties, and requires TEE certification with full credentialing support.

Licensure in TN and/or MS is preferred; a clean file with at least 50 case logs is required. Travel, lodging, and car reimbursement are provided for sites beyond 100 miles from University Hospital.

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologist with cardiac subspecialty.
• TEE certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA credentials required.
• Licensure in Tennessee and/or Mississippi (ideally both).
• Provide 50 case logs from last 12 months.
• Clean malpractice file; credentialing 60–90 days.

Responsibilities

• Typical shifts: 8, 10, 12 hours; some 24-hour shifts.
• Primarily Monday–Friday with limited weekend and call as available.
• Split: ~2/3 supervision by CRNA and ~1/3 own cases.
• Willingness to cover all Tennessee locations (travel between sites).
• Travel, lodging, and car reimbursements for providers >100 miles from University Hospital.
