Position Overview
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC or BE Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple, Texas. Advanced TEE certification is required.
Position Highlights
The Anesthesiologist will practice cardiac and general anesthesiology, to include neuro, OB, thoracic, and regional anesthesia. No pediatric cases.
Join a large established team of anesthesiologists, residents, cardiac anesthesiology fellows, and CRNAs in a mixed anesthesia care team/solo staffing model.
The work schedule is Monday-Friday with weekend and evening call rotated equally.
Average 1 cardiac call per week – home call.
Cardiac cases include Heart Transplantation, LVAD, ECMO, TAVR, Mitraclip, CABG (including OPCAB), and valves.
Additional earnings opportunities are available for working after hours and weekends.
Occasional cardiac anesthesia coverage will be provided at our affiliated hospital located 30 minutes away, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center‑Waco.
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center‑Temple is a 636-bed acute care Level I trauma center and academic site for Baylor College of Medicine‑Temple.
