North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a well-established practice serving St. David’s Medical Center and partner facilities in Austin, TX.

The role offers a substantial compensation package, including a base around $440K with potential total earnings up to $570K with call pay, plus a $50K cardiac stipend and a $50K sign-on, along with comprehensive benefits. Schedule: 50 hours per week, including call.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• Current medical licensure.
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient condition and respond with interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Cardiac Anesthesiologist opening at well-established practice in lively Austin, TX. As part of St. David’s Health Care, the full-service St. David’s Medical Center provides comprehensive medical care and is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute. It provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in a setting that features a 426-bed acute care hospital and a 64-bed rehabilitation hospital. The medical center has a 24-hour emergency department and an all-inclusive Bariatric Surgery Center, and provides complex surgical services. Our practice provides anesthesia services at St. David’s Medical Center, North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center. Our diverse group is composed of anesthesiologists and CRNAs who provide anesthesia services following a care team model, focusing on everyone having a voice while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.
