Job summary

Synergy Health Partners is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join the team at Orange Coast Medical Center in Orange County, CA. The position supports a busy cardiac service with 150-170 open heart cases per year and a growing cath lab.

This is an independent contractor role (1099) with call shared among three Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists. Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years is required or preferred, and active California medical license is ideal.

Qualifications

• 1099 independent contractor position.
• BC/BE eligibility within 5 years.
• Cardiac cases: 150-170 open heart cases per year plus busy cath lab with TAVRs, PFO closure, Watchman procedures, and complex EP cases.
• Non cardiac days will include OR cases: vascular, thoracic, neuro, spine and ortho.

Responsibilities

• Assume anesthesia care for cardiothoracic cases as assigned.
• Coordinate with surgical teams and cath lab colleagues.
• Support call requirements with a small team of cardiovascular anesthesiologists.
