Job summary

Kaiser Permanente – Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) in Orange County invites applications for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a new program. The role focuses on building a high-quality cardiac surgery service with a dedicated team and a strong network across SCPMG facilities.

Board certification in thoracic/cardiac surgery and a track record in complex cases are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiothoracic Surgery training program.
• Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery with a focus in Cardiac Surgery.
• Preferred: 5+ years of cardiac surgery experience.

Responsibilities

• Help build SCPMG Orange County's new cardiac surgery program.
• Collaborate with SCPMG's regional cardiac surgery network and Fontana CV-ICU program.
• Provide patient care with a dedicated team and 24/7 intensivist coverage.

Job description

Salary Range: $786,375.00 to $1,031,895.00

Potential Premium Earnings: $199,800.00

• Salary range includes incentives that are contingent upon skills, competencies, longevity, experience and geographic location.

• The earnings included in the salary range are contingent upon requisite Board Certification.

• Potential premium earnings may vary based on location.

• Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort.
