Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training in anesthesiology accredited by ACGME or AOA.
• Board certification in anesthesiology and Tennessee license desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative anesthesia care for varied procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and teams to plan optimal patient care.
• Administer general, regional or local anesthesia as needed.
• Monitor vitals and adjust anesthesia to maintain safety and stability.
• Respond to emergencies during surgery and document care in the medical record.
• Stay current with advances in anesthesiology through continuing education.
