Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a Springfield, IL position within a Level I trauma center. The role focuses on cardiac cases with comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.

Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, completion of an anesthesiology residency, board eligibility or certification, licensure, and ECFMG/FLEX if applicable. Excellent leadership and patient care are expected.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• Current medical licensure.
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
