North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking an Anesthesiologist for HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. The role encompasses pre-anesthesia evaluation, developing anesthetic plans, and managing induction, maintenance, and emergence across a wide range of procedures.

Requirements include MD/DO, completion of Anesthesiology Residency, board eligibility or certification, active license, and ECFMG/FLEX if applicable. Light call, strong benefits, and loan repayment are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board eligibility or board certification required.
• Active medical licensure in Illinois or eligible for licensure.
• ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient status and intervene as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
