Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is partnering with Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida to provide cardiac-focused anesthesia services. The Cardiac Anesthesiologist will lead preoperative assessments, craft anesthesia plans, and manage induction through emergence across diverse cardiac and general procedures.

The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and clinical leadership while supporting a high-volume surgical program in a 335-bed hospital with a long-standing community legacy.

Qualifications

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• TEE proficiency is required.
• Completion of Cardiac Fellowship.
• ECFMG and FLEX.
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia.
• Currently licensed as a physician.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
