Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a qualified Anesthesiologist specializing in cardiac procedures to join our team at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ. The role involves directing anesthesia activities, managing patient anesthesia during surgery, and ensuring their safety and comfort. Candidates must have a valid medical degree, proper certification, residency in anesthesia, and a cardiac fellowship. A competitive salary of $575,000 plus sign-on incentives and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
• Certification as ECFMG and FLEX required.
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia is essential.
• Completion of an approved cardiac fellowship is mandatory.
• Current New Jersey medical license is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities within the Anesthesia Department.
• Manage patients' anesthesia during surgeries and procedures.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients.
• Induce, maintain, and recover patients from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients’ conditions throughout procedures.
• Perform necessary clinical interventions.

Education

M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine

Certification as ECFMG (enabled) and FLEX

Completed approved residency in anesthesia

Completed approved cardiac fellowship

Currently licensed as a physician in the state of New Jersey
