Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in College Station, TX is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our Medical Center team. The role focuses on cardiac anesthesia across diverse procedures, working within a mixed medical direction team with CRNAs.

The schedule is typically Monday–Friday with call rotation; compensation includes base salary, call pay, extra hours, and a team production bonus, plus relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. An Epic EMR environment supports your practice.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Medicine required.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas.
• Board certification or active pursuit of board certification as defined by the relevant board.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia with a cardiac focus across general, plastics, orthopedics, ENT, Gyn/OB, and related areas.
• Collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs within a mixed medical direction model.
• Adhere to a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend/evening call rotated among the group.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.

Position Highlights

• The Cardiac Anesthesiologist will practice all types of anesthesia with a cardiac focus: general, plastics, orthopedics, B&B pediatric ENT, Gyn, OB, etc.
• Join a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs working in a combination of a mixed medical direction care team model.
• The work schedule is expected to be Monday-Friday with weekend and evening call rotated equally among the group.
• Compensation is a mix of base salary, call pay, extra hours pay beyond normal business hours, and team production bonus

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
