Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station in College Station, TX. The role includes practicing anesthesia with a cardiac focus and a mix of cases, in a team-based setting with CRNAs.

The position features a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend call rotated among the group; compensation includes base salary, call pay, overtime, and a team production bonus, plus relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine required.
• Texas medical license required.
• Board certification or active pursuit as defined by the appropriate medical board.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia with a cardiac focus across general, plastics, orthopedics, ENT (B&B pediatric), Gyn and OB.
• Work in a mixed direction care team model with CRNAs.
• Typical schedule Monday–Friday with call rotated among the group.

Position Highlights

• The Cardiac Anesthesiologist will practice all types of anesthesia with a cardiac focus: general, plastics, orthopedics, B&B pediatric ENT, Gyn, OB, etc.
• Join a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs working in a combination of a mixed medical direction care team model.
• The work schedule is expected to be Monday-Friday with weekend and evening call rotated equally among the group.
• Compensation is a mix of base salary, call pay, extra hours pay beyond normal business hours, and team production bonus
• We offer an employed position with a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, a comprehensive benefits package, and no state income tax.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
