Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY, invites applications for an Academic Rank Open - Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join the Cardiac Anesthesia Division within the Department of Anesthesiology. You will work on a high-volume program covering CABG, valve, aortic surgery, and structural heart cases, while also teaching fellows and residents.

Join a multidisciplinary team with dedicated cardiac OR blocks, state-of-the-art intraoperative TEE, and opportunities for clinical research.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume cardiac surgical cases such as CABG, valve, and aortic surgery.
• Experience with structural heart procedures (TAVR, TMVR, TEER).

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for a wide spectrum of cardiac surgical and interventional cardiology cases.
• Engage in teaching and mentorship for fellows, residents, SRNAs, and students.
• Participate in clinical and educational research with institutional support.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and intensivists in a multidisciplinary environment.
