Albany Medical Center in New York is recruiting an academic rank cardiac anesthesiologist to join the Cardiac Anesthesia Division within the Department of Anesthesiology. The program emphasizes a high-volume open-heart service and a busy structural heart program.

You will teach cardiac anesthesia fellows, residents, SRNAs, and medical students, participate in clinical and educational research, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons and interventional cardiologists.

Qualifications

• Cardiac anesthesiologists sought for academic division within the Department of Anesthesiology.
• High-volume program covering CABG, valve, aortic surgery and busy structural heart services.
• Opportunities to teach cardiac anesthesia fellows, residents, SRNAs, and medical students.
• Engage in clinical and educational research with experienced mentors and institutional support.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a wide spectrum of cardiac surgical and interventional cardiology patients.
