Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Card Specialist I to support debit and credit card programs. You will handle member inquiries, manage card statuses and orders, detect fraud, and perform file maintenance with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

Hybrid and flexible schedule options are available, with opportunities for career growth and on-the-job training. A starting hourly rate of $17.91–$18.97 is offered, with annual earnings around $37,250–$39,460 plus bonus

Qualifications

• 1 to 12 months of prior experience in credit and debit card services or a similar field preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone support in the General Servicing queue and assist frontline staff as needed.
• Process general servicing debit and credit card requests via workflows.
• Verify and act on fraud alerts and card status updates (activations, blocks, restrictions).
• Assist with card orders, tracking, and production documentation.
