Chase Card Services is seeking a Card Risk Strategy Associate to shape the Credit Box and risk framework for affluent and high-net-worth card segments. You will partner with Product, Finance, and Risk to define strategies, assess opportunities, and ensure sound lending decisions that support growth and prudent risk management.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, collaboration, and ownership of metrics, with the aim of expanding the card portfolio while maintaining risk controls and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline
• 3+ years of direct to consumer lending/origination/retail credit experience at a large financial services firm
• Exceptional finance and analytical skills
• Strategic thinking with ability to identify opportunities to innovate
• Proven cross-team collaboration in large organizations
• Proficiency with SAS/SQL/Python/Tableau or similar tools

Responsibilities

• Define the Credit Box with Product, Finance and Risk teams
• Lead alignment to achieve credit goals
• Assess new credit opportunities with product and risk
• Set up reviews to ensure credit box accuracy
• Define variables for new credit models in collaboration with modeling teams
• Develop metrics and report performance to senior leadership
• Shape credit policies, underwriting standards and risk frameworks
• Ensure adherence to banking regulations and internal controls
• Collaborate across business lines to balance growth and risk
• Provide approvals or recommendations for complex acquisitions related credit transactions
