Job summary

Cardless is seeking a Consumer Compliance Manager to own product compliance across card programs, advising on terms, pricing, disclosures, and servicing to meet regulatory and partner bank requirements.

You will review features and disclosures, interpret consumer protection laws, and build out checklists and workflows while partnering with bank clients. This is an individual contributor role in a fast‑paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in compliance or regulatory advisory within banking/fintech.
• Experience reviewing consumer financial product disclosures and flows for regulatory compliance.
• Working knowledge of consumer protection regulations across credit and debit card products.
• Ability to translate regulation into practical, customer‑friendly guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Advise product, business, and operations on compliance of new card programs, terms, pricing, and fees from concept to servicing.
• Review terms, pricing, disclosures, and flows for regulatory alignment with bank requirements.
• Interpret and apply Regulation Z, E, DD, B, UDAAP, FCRA to product decisions, including novel features.
• Identify regulatory issues early and propose defensible, workable solutions.
• Build and maintain product‑compliance review checklists, intake, sign‑off workflows, and audit records.
• Partner with issuing banks on review and sign‑off, and respond to inquiries as needed.
• Escalate higher‑risk issues with analysis and recommendations.
• Contribute to regulatory change management and internal training.
