Giesecke+Devrient ePayments America, Inc. in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a LA Metro Operator II to join our production team.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm, performing card tapping, printing, merging, and carrier preparation with a focus on accuracy and speed. You will follow initialization and verification steps, prepare paperwork, log updates, and handle mailings and shipments, while adhering to ISO work instructions and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; post-secondary education is preferred
• Greater than 6 months experience in card personalization is highly preferred
• Mathematical ability required
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast pace and demanding environment
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently or as a team member
• Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination

Responsibilities

• Operate the initialization terminal with attention to prompts for efficient work
• Select the correct initialization job from the station
• Choose the correct cardstock for initialization
• Maintain accuracy for all quality checks per standards
• Keep work area clean and orderly
• Follow safety regulations and company policies
• Produce high quality products with minimal scrap
• Document scrap in process steps
• Update trackers and forms with job status
• Request cards from the vault for initialization
• Adhere to ISO Work Instructions
• Sign-off on tasks completed
• Print, fold, and insert mail pieces per specs
• Meter and seal envelopes as instructed
• Print cards and carriers on desktop equipment
• Assist with processing returns and logging jobs as needed
• Other related personalization tasks
