Job summary

Wollborg Michelson Recruiting is seeking a Card Ops Program Administrator to support card operations leadership in developing, implementing, and managing projects involving new products, enhancements, and reporting.

The role collaborates with IT, project management, member services, vendors, and other departments to define requirements and successfully deliver initiatives, while ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Five or more years of project management experience.
  • Experience in card services or a related financial services environment preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

  • Research and maintain card operations requirements for departmental and organization-wide projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, work plans, schedules, estimates, resource requirements, and status reports.
  • Conduct research and analysis for promotional initiatives designed to increase card portfolio growth and activity.
  • Track promotional results, resolve issues, and provide updates to management.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, including banking secrecy and anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Document project activities, monitor progress, resolve issues, and recommend solutions based on research and analysis.
  • Participate in project meetings and manage project tracking for card operations initiatives.
  • Administer user access, security permissions, system changes, and related tasks across card processing and operational platforms.
  • Audit user access reports and assist with testing and validating system enhancements.
  • Develop and update departmental procedures, branch and contact center procedures, FAQs, and operational communications.
  • Assist with requests for proposals, including cost-benefit analyses and proposed responses.
  • Act as a liaison with external contacts, processors, vendors, suppliers, and affiliated organizations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and service-level requirements.
  • Collaborate with technology teams by defining requirements and supporting testing and implementation.
  • Lead departmental projects using the designated project management system.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five or more years of project management or project management support experience.
  • Must have experience in card services, card processing platforms, or a related financial services environment preferred.
  • Experience with process development or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strong project management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to develop and present recommendations to management.
  • Effective oral, written, numerical, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with personal computers, standard office equipment, and project management software.
  • Ability to operate computer terminals and other office equipment with manual dexterity.
