Job summary

Farm Bureau Bank in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Full Time Loan Operations Associate to support daily loan disbursements, card and loan follow-up documents, and ensure accurate documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in banking or loan servicing, and a detail-oriented approach; in-office work is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of banking, lending, loan servicing, or operations experience preferred.
• Experience reviewing loan documentation and funding consumer loans preferred.
• Regulated financial institution environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Print and process daily loan disbursement checks.
• Print and distribute credit card welcome packets and loan follow-up documents.
• Process returned mail and maintain documentation tracking.
• Provide service level coverage through departmental phone queue.
• Review incoming loan documentation from agents, dealerships, customers, and internal teams.
• Monitor and manage shared communication channels; ensure timely requests and current workloads.
• Process loan and card servicing requests, including account maintenance and customer inquiries.
• Perform account research and resolve operational issues.
• Review and reconcile daily reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate loan and card records.
• Assist with consumer loan funding and documentation processes.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dealerships, external and internal partners.
• Support departmental projects, cross-training, and process improvements.
• Regular in-office attendance required; hours align with Farm Bureau Bank operations.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

What you'll get to do:

Education & experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 plus years of banking, lending, loan servicing, or operations experience preferred.
• Experience reviewing loan documentation and funding consumer loans preferred.
• Experience working in a regulated financial institution environment preferred.
• Knowledge of consumer lending operations and loan servicing functions.
• Understanding banking regulations, including BSA, CIP, Regulation Z, Regulation E, Regulation B, and TILA.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• This position is required to work in the office
