Job summary

Chase is seeking a Copy Editor for the Card Benefits Editorial team to translate complex cardmember benefits into clear, customer-friendly content. You will collaborate with writers, producers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency across the credit card portfolio.

You will apply editorial judgment to improve readability, support review workflows, and uphold brand voice guidelines, while staying current on consumer finance trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
• 3+ years of copy editing experience.
• Strong command of grammar, punctuation, usage and plain-language writing.
• Edit for clarity, tone and brand consistency without losing intent.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to give feedback.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Copy edit content across Chase's credit card portfolio and related experiences.
• Collaborate with writers, editors, project managers, designers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality work.
• Ensure content is clear, concise and aligned with brand voice guidelines.
• Maintain high editorial standards including grammar, punctuation and readability.
• Apply style guides and QC processes, identify inconsistencies and improvements.
• Fact-check details and accuracy of benefit descriptions and disclosures.
• Support content review and approval processes by incorporating feedback and tracking changes.
• Stay current on trends in consumer finance, travel and dining content.
