Job summary

CarBuzz, part of Valnet Inc., is seeking a Content Creator to become the on-camera face of the brand. You will craft and deliver engaging short-form videos that capture viewers in seconds and drive car-shopping narratives.

You will film, edit, and produce vertical content tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, maintaining brand voice across formats. Remote role with collaboration across editorial and social teams.

Qualifications

• Experience creating video content, ideally for a brand or publisher.
• Strong skills in filming and editing engaging video content from concept to final cut.
• Proficiency with video editing tools.
• A strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual style, with the ability to match an established brand tone.
• Experience in automotive content creation or digital publishing for automotive, with a track record of producing content that resonates with car shoppers and owners.
• Familiarity with how video performs across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We're looking for a Content Creator to be the face of CarBuzz, the personality who shows up on camera, walks viewers through the cars they're actually considering, and turns buying decisions into scroll-stopping video content from first concept to final cut.

What We're Looking For

• Step in front of the camera as one of the faces and voices of the brand, hosting and presenting short-form video that hooks our audience in the first few seconds.
• Produce a steady volume of original short-form content for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, with the occasional longer piece where a topic earns it.
• Develop concepts, hooks, and scripts that bring the brand's voice to life and hold up at short-form pace.
• Film, edit, and produce polished vertical video optimized for each platform's specs and audience.
• Ensure every piece of content aligns with the brand's tone, style, and messaging guidelines, and stays consistent with what the rest of the creator team is putting out.
• Collaborate with the social and editorial teams to turn content ideas and trends into compelling video.
• Stay current on video trends, formats, and platform features to keep content fresh and competitive.
