Job description

Creative Marketing Specialist (Videographer & Video Editor)

We are looking for a skilled Videographer & Video Editor to join our marketing team. This is a hands‑on video production role for someone who is strong behind the camera and in the editing suite.

We receive a high volume of applications from candidates with general marketing, social media, and content creation backgrounds. While those skills can be valuable, this position specifically requires demonstrated experience filming and editing high‑quality video content.

The right candidate will be responsible for producing video content from concept through final delivery, including planning shoots, operating cameras, capturing professional audio and lighting, organizing footage, editing, color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and exporting content for multiple platforms.

A portfolio, demo reel, or examples of previous video work are required. Applications without video work samples will not be considered.

About the Role

As Videographer & Video Editor, you will work closely with our marketing, product, technical, and sales teams to create engaging video content that showcases our products, educates customers, supports product launches, and builds our brand.

Our content ranges from highly polished product and promotional videos to technical demonstrations, installation content, social media videos, event coverage, customer vehicles, behind‑the‑scenes footage, and automotive lifestyle content.

This role requires someone who can do more than simply capture footage. We are looking for a videographer who understands how to tell a story visually and can take raw footage and turn it into professional, engaging finished content.

You should be comfortable independently taking a video project from an initial idea through filming, editing, revisions, and final delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, shoot, and edit professional video content for the company
  • Operate cameras, lenses, stabilization equipment, lighting, microphones, and other video production equipment
  • Set up lighting and audio for interviews, product demonstrations, technical videos, vehicle features, and other productions
  • Create compelling compositions and camera movements that fit the style and purpose of each project
  • Edit both short‑form and long‑form video content
  • Create content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, paid advertising, product pages, email marketing, trade shows, and other channels
  • Produce technical and educational videos explaining our products, features, installations, and troubleshooting
  • Film automotive content including vehicles, engine builds, dyno sessions, burnouts, driving footage, events, and customer projects
  • Create promotional videos supporting new product launches, sales campaigns, and major company initiatives
  • Capture B‑roll and maintain an organized library of reusable video assets
  • Edit footage with strong attention to pacing, storytelling, music, sound design, and visual flow
  • Perform color correction and color grading
  • Clean up and mix dialogue, music, sound effects, and other audio
  • Create basic motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, product callouts, and other visual elements
  • Format and optimize video content for different platforms and aspect ratios
  • Work with the marketing team to develop video concepts, shot lists, scripts, and production plans
  • Participate in content planning and contribute creative ideas for future video projects
  • Coordinate with employees, customers, influencers, ambassadors, builders, and other participants during shoots
  • Film content at automotive events, trade shows, races, and other off‑site locations when needed
  • Review and organize footage after shoots and maintain an efficient file‑management workflow
  • Manage multiple video projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Maintain consistent quality and branding across company video content
  • Stay current with video production techniques, editing trends, equipment, and platform‑specific content formats
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in videography and video editing
  • Strong video editing ability
  • Experience operating DSLR, mirrorless, cinema, or comparable professional video cameras
  • Strong understanding of exposure, frame rate, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, and lens selection
  • Understanding of lighting techniques for interviews, products, vehicles, and other subjects
  • Experience recording and working with professional audio
  • Strong understanding of composition, camera movement, visual storytelling, and shot selection
  • Ability to independently plan and execute a video shoot
  • Ability to turn raw footage into a polished final product
  • Experience editing short‑form social content as well as longer‑form video
  • Proficiency with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar
  • Basic motion graphics and title animation capabilities
  • Understanding of color correction and basic color grading
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage large amounts of footage and project files
  • Ability to receive feedback and make revisions efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a marketing team
Portfolio Requirement

A video portfolio, demo reel, website, YouTube/Vimeo channel, or links to previous video work must be included with your application.

Applications that do not include examples of previous video production and editing work will not be considered.

Your portfolio should demonstrate your ability to film and edit video, not simply manage social media accounts or develop marketing campaigns.

For collaborative projects, please identify what portions of the project you personally filmed, edited, or produced.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience filming automotive, motorsports, powersports, manufacturing, or enthusiast‑focused content
  • Experience filming moving vehicles
  • Experience with gimbals, sliders, drones, action cameras, or other specialty production equipment
  • Experience filming interviews and technical demonstrations
  • Experience creating YouTube content
  • Experience producing vertical short‑form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects or other motion graphics software
  • Photography experience
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced in‑house marketing environment
  • Familiarity with automotive performance products, engines, EFI systems, racing, or the aftermarket automotive industry
What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes pride in the craft of video production.

Strong applicants should be able to look at a finished piece of content and understand why certain shots, cuts, camera movements, lighting choices, sounds, and pacing make it effective.

You do not need to already be an expert in fuel injection or automotive technology, but you should be willing to learn our products and industry so that you can translate technical information into content that is visually engaging and easy for customers to understand.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone with demonstrated video skills. Candidates whose experience is primarily in general marketing, graphic design, social media management, copywriting, or photography without significant videography and editing experience are unlikely to be a fit for this particular position.

Work Environment

This is a hands‑on production position. The role will include a combination of studio and office work, filming in our facility, filming vehicles and products, and occasional travel to automotive events, trade shows, customer locations, or other shoots.

Some shoots may involve working around vehicles, engines, shops, dynos, outdoor environments, and automotive events.
