Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Carbon Trader to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in OTC (Over-The-Counter) carbon trading within the voluntary carbon market and will be instrumental in managing our carbon credit portfolio and informing our carbon trading strategies.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Design and execute strategic OTC carbon trading plans in line with dClimate's business objectives.
• Manage and optimize our portfolio of carbon credits, tracking performance, and identifying opportunities.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform trading strategies and decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key market stakeholders, including carbon exchanges, project developers, and buyers.
• Ensure all trading activities adhere to relevant market regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, providing market insights and data to drive strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field is required; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in OTC carbon trading within the voluntary carbon market.
• Extensive understanding of carbon markets, including the nuances and regulations of the voluntary carbon market.
• Proven track record in portfolio management and strategic trading.
• Exceptional analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving market environment.

Working Conditions : This position is full-time and remote. The successful candidate should be comfortable with flexible hours and managing their workload independently.
