Job summary

AISIN Illinois is seeking a Carbon Neutrality Coordinator to lead and track the company’s carbon reduction initiatives across North American facilities. You will coordinate with project owners, leadership, engineering, and environmental teams to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with sustainability objectives.

The role emphasizes program governance, data integrity, reporting, and stakeholder engagement while supporting annual sustainability roadmaps and grant opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong project management principles.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills.
• Dashboard development and reporting experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Influence without direct authority.
• Knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting principles preferred.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks preferred.
• Understanding of industrial operations and engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate carbon neutralization initiatives and maintain project inventories.
• Develop and monitor detailed project schedules and milestones.
• Track emissions reductions and maintain carbon accounting records.
• Prepare routine progress reports for senior leadership and ESG reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings and action-item logs to ensure accountability.
• Identify risks, escalate issues, and suggest corrective actions as needed.
• Support strategic planning and prioritization based on emissions impact and ROI.

Education

Associate’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

Lean Six Sigma certification is desirable.
