Job summary

Anthesis Esp seeks a seasoned Carbon & Energy Markets Manager to drive business development for the Carbon & Energy Markets service line in North America. You will manage client relationships, secure deals, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver sustainability solutions.

The role requires a strong track record in environmental commodities, carbon markets, and corporate sales, with willingness to travel for key meetings and events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, account management, environmental commodities, or related roles.
• Proven track record of originating and closing complex corporate sales.
• Strong knowledge of voluntary carbon markets and renewable energy instruments.
• Experience selling carbon credits, RECs, EACs, PPAs.
• Existing portfolio of corporate clients and network in carbon markets.
• Ability to leverage networks to create opportunities and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow NA Carbon & Energy Markets portfolio.
• Identify and secure new clients interested in carbon credits, RECs, EACs, PPAs.
• Manage relationships with existing clients and cross-sell across services.
• Lead sales processes from qualification to contract and close.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored sustainability solutions.
• Build relationships with market participants and monitor market opportunities.
• Travel as needed for client meetings and events.
