Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Carbon Commercial Analyst to support carbon credit sales, develop portfolio analytics, and maintain market intelligence reporting. You will collaborate with the Carbon Marketing team to translate demand and transactions into actionable insights while safeguarding data quality and confidentiality.

The role emphasizes analytical judgment, organization, and cross-functional collaboration across commercial, technical, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Finance, Natural Resources, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong collaboration across commercial, technical, legal, finance, and project teams; clear communication; timely follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Maintain platform listings and data, monitor opportunity status, and assist with diligence and transaction requirements.
• Support buyer diligence, RFPs, proposals, and commercial agreements execution by compiling and formatting project information.
• Maintain credit supply, availability, and sales forecasting tools to align issuance and inventory with the sales pipeline and portfolio needs.
• Maintain transaction, supply, and market intelligence data and improve workflows with consistent data handling and communications.
• Build and maintain portfolio analytics and modeling tools to evaluate inventory, pricing, scenarios, and financial impacts of sales decisions.
• Monitor carbon market trends and synthesize findings into clear market intelligence to support portfolio strategy and forecasting.
