Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is a leading Tier-1 supplier in the automotive sector, seeking a skilled worker to manage tooling and precision instruments for the Chain, Fabrication & Assembly dept.

Responsibilities include repairing carbide dies, troubleshooting die issues, and verifying tooling against quality standards by machine proofing; strong English reading/writing and 3 years in fabrication/assembly are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Be able to read and write English.
• 3 years experience in fabrication or assembly technologies, using shop arithmetic, decimals and fractions, working from prints and specifications.
• Able to read and interpret various precision measuring instruments, keep inventory records and maintain inventory levels.
• Must have carbide die repair experience & knowledge of surface grinders & punch presses.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control & inventory levels of tooling, gauges and precision measuring instruments for Automotive Chain, Fabrication & Assembly Dept.
• Proof tooling in machines to ensure conformance to quality standards.
• Repair various carbide progressive, pierce & blank dies
• Troubleshoot die problems
