Qualifications

• Ability to stand and be mobile for 8 hours.
• Proficient in using measuring devices.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Ability to read and prepare orders.
• High understanding of machines and components.
• Computer and Software navigation ability.
• Ability to lift (up to) 40 lbs.
• Math skills appropriate to a machining environment.
• Able to read product prints and check product to match.
• Proficient in the use of measuring devices such as Dial Indicators and Calipers.
• Ability to safely use hand tools correctly.
• Accredited HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate Carbide Cells and load/unload machines.
• Ensure correct orders are fulfilled and adjust machine parameters as needed.
• Maintain quality standards and cleanliness in the work area.
• Identify and troubleshoot common machine problems.
• Follow standard operating procedures for carbide cells.
• Move between different sections of the machine as required.
