Job summary

Bosch in Lincolnton, NC is seeking a Production Operator to support the startup and implementation of the existing Lincolnton facility. You will learn the process and help develop local work instructions, including a requirement for extended overseas travel for training.

You will actively communicate with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality, train new associates on the shift, and work to meet daily targets while adhering to 5S and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational schooling a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in brazing processes (or similar).
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication skills—spoken and written.
• Ability to learn new processes, machines and technology; flexible for different shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload, operate, adjust, change-over, and maintain multiple machines.
• Conduct 5S and aid in trouble-shooting; meet daily targets.
• Train and monitor new production associates on the specified shift; provide timely feedback.
• Coordinate with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and other departments.

Job Description

• Support the startup and Implementation of the production operation existing Lincolnton, NC facility.
• Learn first hand the process and to support to develop the local work instructions and standards. This Position will require extended Overseas Travel for training.
• Actively communicate with the related departments (Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, etc.).
