Job summary

Avondale Mercedes-Benz Grapevine is seeking a Car Wash Supervisor to oversee the car wash staff, train team members to be client advocates, and ensure adherence to processes and quality standards. The role includes directing car wash technicians in vehicle prep for delivery and supervising daily operations to maintain high client satisfaction.

The position requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent, plus 2–4 years related experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook

Responsibilities

• Supervise car wash staff and train staff to be client advocates and comply with processes and standards.
• Direct car wash technicians in preparation of vehicles for delivery back to clients; plan, organize, lead and control the flow of work.
• Develop and manage car wash staff schedules to meet demands and ensure client satisfaction.
• Conduct performance reviews and coach staff weekly; ensure equipment maintenance and prevent breakdowns.

Our Avondale Mercedes-Benz Grapevine Car Wash Supervisor supervise the car wash staff, ensure an elevated client experience through such supervision and car wash staff direction and training, and train such staff to be client advocates and comply with processes and standards. In addition, this position will supervise and direct the car wash technicians in preparation of vehicles for delivery back to clients. Car Wash Supervisors plan, organize, lead, and control the flow of work through the Car Wash in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality completions for our customers.

• Trains, develops, supervises, and coaches car wash members for the skills necessary in performance of their duties; which may include the scheduling of outside training
• Participates in recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding Car Wash members in conjunction with Member Services and Service Manager/Director
• Develops and manages car wash staff schedules to meet demands of the department and ensure member and client satisfaction
• Assigns car wash personnel to appropriate work areas to achieve efficiency
• Conducts performance reviews of staff and meets weekly to discuss/coach performance weekly
• Determines and seeks preventative maintenance of all equipment
• Orders and manages car wash supplies for the car wash team
• Enforces the proper use of the department's designated parking area, supplies, utilities, etc. through the supervision of staff in order to eliminate waste and maximize the profitability of the department
• Safe guards security of clients' possessions
• Liaison between car wash members and ASMs
• Maintains strict departmental adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
• Implements and consistently monitors car wash quality through quality control processes and inspections

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook

Valid Texas State Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable)
