Job summary

Circle K in Valparaiso, IN is seeking a Store Team Lead/Manager for Store 4702461. This full-time position requires leading daily operations, training new hires, and ensuring excellent customer service while managing schedules and inventory.

You will act as the on-site manager when the Site Manager is unavailable, oversee opening/closing, drive sales, and maintain a safe, clean, and compliant store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.
• Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
• Experience with team building.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong work ethics and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Function as the manager in charge when Site Manager is unavailable.
• Responsible for ordering and stocking of vending
• Effectively provide training to new hires
• Able to train on Opening/Closing checklists and proper loading techniques to teammates.
• Responsible for training Fast Pass sales techniques to the team
• Professionally responds to voicemails and emails in a timely manner.
• Able to create an effective schedule.
• Complete knowledge of Car Wash vacuum system operation
• Able to clean the vacuum system (pressure washing the system)
• Support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings.
• Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses
• Supervise teammates completing PM and assess if further training is needed.
• Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown
