Job summary

Mark-Vii-Equipment is seeking a Service and Install Technician in Springfield, IL. You will install, maintain, and repair car wash equipment, staging and inspecting parts and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, ability to troubleshoot PLC controllers, and strong communication when interacting with customers and dispatch.

Qualifications

• Requires 1-3 years’ related experience.
• Previous experience with Car Wash equipment.
• Strong Mechanical and Plumbing skills.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams.
• Understanding of PLC controllers and low voltage circuits.
• Three-phase power knowledge.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Unload and stage new equipment on job sites.
• Inspect equipment prior to installation and document any damage.
• Install new car wash equipment.
• Removal of old car wash equipment.
• Perform periodic and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues; diagnose problems.
• Maintain tools and test equipment; present a professional appearance.
• Provide superior customer service when interfacing with customers.
• Communicate information clearly to dispatch and customers.
