Job summary

Mark VII - Clean Cars® in Springfield, IL seeks a Field Service Technician to maintain and repair equipment, document repairs, and suggest improvements to increase reliability and reduce customer costs, performing field work with minimal supervision.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLC controllers and power supplies, provide on-site training for customer personnel, and assist in installing new carwash equipment; strong communication and technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field service experience.
• Technical knowledge to develop improved methods.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams.
• Understanding of low voltage control and three-phase power.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Troubleshoot chemical, mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment, PLC controllers and power supplies.
• Perform diagnostic analysis.
• Provide on-site technical training for customer personnel.
• May assist in installation of new carwash equipment.
• Perform repairs and correct malfunctions as necessary.
• Maintain tools, test equipment and materials professionally.
• Interface with customers to ensure effective communication.
