Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer – Manufacturing & Supply in Raritan, NJ to support a new CAR-T manufacturing process. You will act as a subject matter expert, ensuring quality and adherence to procedures while addressing process issues on the front line.

The role requires a engineering degree with 2–3 years of cGMP experience, the ability to work shifts, and a drive to improve manufacturing efficiency and compliance across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 2–3 years of cGMP biopharma operations experience; cell/gene therapy cGMP preferred.
• Ability to write SOPs and support inspections; adapt to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing manufacturing operations and process improvements.
• Provide front line reference for manufacturing issues and deviations.
• Coordinate with Quality, Compliance, and technical teams to resolve problems.
• Serve as a primary contact across manufacturing and support groups.
• Work with equipment suppliers for timely technical support.
• Assist with process health data collection and waste-reduction efforts.
