Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor's of Nursing preferred
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support; additional certifications may be required based on unit requirements

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients, using nursing skills and patient age/needs as guidance.
• Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and contributes to clinical decision making.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes based on data, evidence and standards of care.
• Coordinates treatment plans and develops/discharges/transfer plans.
• Participates in evaluation of programs and continuous improvement to enhance patient experience.
