Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Technical Operations team based in Raritan, NJ. This exempt role directs daily production of personalized cell therapies in a sterile cGMP environment, on a defined shift, and collaborates across departments to ensure quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering and 6+ years in biotech operations, with strong leadership, communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of operations experience in a biotech/biopharma cGMP environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance related to manufacturing cell-based products.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to influence, train and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple CAR‑T process operation units per SOPs and batch records.
• Lead daily shift start meetings, assign tasks, and ensure safe, compliant production.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to resolve production issues.
