Job summary

AllogeneTherapeutics in Newark, California, is seeking an Associate, Cell Therapy Manufacturing to join our Manufacturing team. This on-site role supports the successful GMP manufacture and release of cell therapy products, ensuring cGMP compliance, quality systems, and timely product readiness.

Responsibilities include processing PBMC, media prep, cell drug product operations, documentation, aseptic technique, equipment setup, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associates degree in relevant science or engineering.
• 1–3 years experience in cGMP biologics or cell therapy manufacturing (or 3+ in cGMP manufacturing).
• Aseptic processing in Grade A/C areas; cell culture handling of human cells.
• Strong documentation, communication and ability to work on shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform SOP and batch record operations including PBMC, media prep, and CAR-T drug product fill.
• Maintain aseptic technique and cGMP compliance throughout processing.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time; train as needed.
• Set up manufacturing areas and equipment, including automated processing lines.
• Update SOPs to reflect best practices and regulatory requirements.
