DARCARS is now hiring New/Used Car Sales Consultants to join our team at Fairfax!

Potential Earning of $100K+

As a Car Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling used vehicles, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving DARCARS's sales objectives. You will engage with customers both in person and virtually, collaborating with fellow Sales Consultants, Sales Managers, Finance Managers, and the General Manager. This is a non-supervisory, commission-based role.

In this role, you will:

  1. Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner
  2. Follow DARCARS approach to selling (including but not limited to):
  3. Greet customers with a welcoming attitude and listen to their needs
  4. Describe operations and features of vehicles matching customer’s needs via in-person or virtually
  5. Follow DARCARS test drive procedures (obtaining correct identification, following test drive route, etc.)
  6. Suggest optional equipment, features, warranties, for customer to purchase
  7. Correctly compute and quote sales price
  8. Work with finance team to obtain financing, as needed
  9. Complete all necessary paperwork
  10. Arrange for delivery and registration of the vehicle
  11. Address all customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
  12. Maintain solid knowledge of brands and products; including features, specifications, pricing, options, and standard equipment
  13. Be able to make an effective demonstration ride on a planned route
  14. Develop and maintain future prospect and customer follow-up system
  15. Participate in all required brand and DARCARS training
  16. Utilize and be familiar with online digital retailing selling tools
  17. May be required to use video tools to assist customers virtually with the car buying process
  18. In conjunction with the General Manager, develop personal income goals and strategies to meet those goals
  19. Comply with DARCARS policies and procedures
  20. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  1. Strong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees
  2. Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish and Chinese) is a plus!
  3. Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  4. Comfortable using video tools, Facetime, etc., to assist customers
  5. Ability to speak, read, and understand instructions, correspondence, and policy documents; converse comfortably with customers
  6. Previous sales experience preferred but not required
  7. Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform normal job functions
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  9. Be a team player
  10. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  11. Valid driver’s license and acceptable safe driving record
  12. High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  13. At least eighteen years of age
  14. Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background check)
